Vanessa Peña-La Torre, MPH, CHES (she/they)
Amaze Educator Ambassador
Vanessa Peña-La Torre is a bilingual, multi-cultural sexuality educator, working in and with diverse communities across the lifespan, including Latino and LGBTQ+ cultural communities, persons navigating homelessness, and persons living with or affected by HIV since 2001. Her passion resides in providing LGBTQ inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma informed sexuality education across the lifespan, and in developing and facilitating professional development training opportunities for adults. She has a Master’s in Public Health, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®). Vanessa enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and watching anything that makes her laugh (comedy, sit-coms, etc.
